Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Renown Esports (“the app”, “we”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Who can play

You must be at least 17 years old, and older if your country requires it. You’re responsible for your account and anything done with it.

Bits, predictions, and cards

Renown Esports is a game, not gambling. Bits are play money. They can’t be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for real money, prizes, or anything of value outside the app.

Bits, cards, titles, and renown are part of the game. They have no cash value and aren’t your property.
We may change how Bits, predictions, payouts, cards, and card earnings work, including prices and rates, to keep the game balanced.
Predictions settle from official match data. If data is missing or wrong, we may refund (push) a prediction, correct a result, or adjust Bits or earnings.
We may remove Bits, cards, or other progress gained through bugs, exploits, or rule-breaking.

Community rules

Match chat is for everyone. Talk trash about the games, not about people. You agree not to:

Post hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people for who they are.
Harass, threaten, or bully anyone, or encourage self-harm.
Post sexual content, spam, scams, or advertising.
Share other people’s personal information.
Impersonate others, including players, teams, Riot Games, or our moderators.
Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or interfere with the app or its servers.

Ordinary swearing is fine. Slurs and harassment are not.

Moderation

We use an automatic filter, player reports, and moderators to enforce these rules. We may remove messages and ban accounts from chat and social features, with or without warning. Use Report and Block on any message (press and hold it) to tell us about problems or to stop seeing someone. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, such as chat messages and your username. You give us permission to store, display, and moderate that content so the app can run. You’re responsible for what you post.

Esports data and trademarks

Match schedules, results, and stats come from public League of Legends esports sources. We try to keep them accurate but can’t guarantee it. Player and team names and images belong to their owners.

Renown Esports isn’t endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in Profile → Settings, or see how to delete your account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. If the app shuts down, Bits and cards end with it, since they have no cash value.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data will be accurate or on time. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost Bits, cards, or progress.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
