Privacy Policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
Renown Esports (“the app”, “we”) is a free prediction and card-collecting game about League of Legends esports. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the app, and how to delete your data.
The short version: we only collect what the game needs to work. We don’t show ads, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
When you play as a guest
- An anonymous account ID, created automatically so your progress is saved. It isn’t linked to your name, email, or phone number.
- Your game data: your profile icon and border color, Bits balance, predictions, cards, card earnings, showcase, and titles.
When you link Apple or Google
- Your Apple or Google account identifier, and the email address the provider shares with us (with Apple, this can be a private relay address). We use it only to sign you in.
- Your username, which other players can see.
- A Sign in with Apple token, kept on our servers only so we can revoke the app’s access to your Apple ID if you delete your account.
Social features
- Chat messages and reactions you post in match rooms. These are visible to everyone in that room.
- Friends, friend requests, and players you block.
- Reports you send about messages, and the reason you choose.
- Moderation records, such as whether an account has been banned from chat.
On your device
The app stores your sign-in session and a few preferences (such as spoiler-free mode) on your phone. We don’t use advertising identifiers.
How we use it
- To run the game: save your progress, settle predictions, pay card earnings, and show your profile.
- To run chat, friends, and player search.
- To keep the community safe: filter slurs, review reports, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To keep the app working and fix problems.
What other players can see
If you’ve linked an account: your username, profile icon, titles, win rate, renown, card count, showcase, and chat messages. Guests don’t appear in player search and don’t have a public profile. Your predictions, Bits balance, and blocks are private.
Who helps us run the app
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosts our database, sign-in, and server functions. All the data above is stored there. |
| Apple and Google | Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, if you choose to link an account. |
| Expo | Delivers app updates. |
| Riot Games (LoL Esports) | We fetch public match schedules and stats. We don’t send them any information about you. |
We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, Bits, cards, predictions, chat messages, reactions, friends, blocks, and reports are deleted immediately, and we revoke Sign in with Apple access if you used it.
Your choices
- Delete your account any time in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Or see how to delete your account.
- Sign out from Settings. A guest account can’t be recovered after signing out, so it’s deleted.
- Block players so you don’t see their messages.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or any other privacy request at contact@renownesports.com.
Children
Renown Esports is for people 17 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 17 has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to it is restricted on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app.
